60 x Siren’s Pollen? Super. As if potions and flasks weren’t expensive enough already…

We don’t get another 370 for it? I thought I read somewhere each new warfront rotation will give a 370

Wowhead needs to update the main page info, it looks cluttered. Please separate it into expansions, Warfront Contributions could maybe be done in a style similar to the Legion Invasion tracking! Never mind that part, they already did it 😀

I second this – there is a lot of old referenced content whilst still relevant to some, has no place on the front page.

I think we do but I think it works like this:r
r
There are 4 stages:r
1. Alliance Controlled – Horde Contributing (Alliance Rares and World Boss reset) (We are here now)r
2. Alliance Controlled – Horde Attacking (Horde Open Warfronts – get the 370 quest)r
3. Horde Controlled – Alliance Contributing (Horde Rares and World Boss reset)r
4. Horde Controlled – Alliance Contributing (Alliance Open Warfronts – get the 370 quest)r
r
So each faction gets the quest for a 370 once per rotation. How long a rotation is can vary depending on how fast the factions turn in their contributions. You also get the rares and a chance at a 370 from the world boss once per rotation. If the 370 quest is once per character there will be a few disappointed people. However if the follow Legion (and they said they wanted to) a raid cycle was 66 days so this means you will get two (maybe three) 370s before they are old gear.

Horde got more than enough things, you got the rares twice, you got to go in for a few days under ilv 320 and you are still crying?

I totally agree. For example, are there more than 5 people in the world who do Legion world bosses these days? I didn’t do them even in Legion because of the low ilvl gear they dropped. And maybe the fish and pet dailies (the cosmetic stuff) should be separated from the other things as well.

How the heck did the Horde have the Rares Twice? The First ones to accomplish that was the Alliance, because guess what, YOU HAD THEM TO START WITH!

Actually, when Arathi first opened, the Horde could kill the rares and get loot. When control of Arathi went over to them, the rares were still flagged as incomplete and reset for them.

The rares reset ONLY when your faction gains (or regains) control of the zone.

I’m not personally upset about it but I can understand why others are.

When the first Warfont went active Horde was contributing but both factions had active rares. r
r
When Horde captured the Warfont they reset for Horde only as they set the controlling flag and rares got reset for them only. r
r
Today Alliance got control- this reset rares for us but not for Horde. r
r
Alliance has just had the second shot at the WB and the second at rares. When Horde next get control they will be on the second WB reset and the third rare reset. Blizzard said that they should have never had the opening round as they never had control at first but because it was new they got it anyway by mistake and they will look at that for next time.

Yea, but last time, that quest was available during the contribution phase. So maybe it was a one off?

Nextra, Horde have had rares 2 times, because the reset condition was when your faction gains control, there was no loot condition set that your faction had to be currently controlling it. This has been said many times in multiple forums. Horde were able to kill rares while alliance had control on first week, and then kill them again when they regained control because there was no condition set that they had to actually be owning it. So if for some reason you didn’t kill all the rares while you owned it(or perhaps you hit 120 on a new toon), you can go to arathi by flying there and finish up rares, you’ll be flagged, but you can kill rares you didn’t kill.

Calling people stupid for your lack of knowledge is ironic, just because you’ve never heard of this, doesn’t mean it isn’t fact.
