Ubisoft has unsheathed the official patch notes for Assassin’s Creed Origins update 1.2.0, confirming a host of new features for the critically acclaimed stabathon. As expected, this latest patch preps the open-world title for the upcoming Hidden Ones DLC, and can be downloaded tomorrow.
Aside from adding support for the DLC, which features a brand new adventure for protagonist Bayek, the patch also adds the ability to sell your unwanted clobber back to Weavers, as well as introducing a new quest line known as Incoming Threat.
Outside of that, there’s a heap of general bug fixes and other improvements on offer, including reducing the difficulty of the Hippodrome races, improving the AI of domesticated animals, tweaking cinematic transitions, and ironing out missions bugs that prevent players from completing their objective.
The Hidden Ones is part of the Assassin’s Creed Origins Season Pass, and will be supplemented by another round of Trial of the Gods, the first of which sees the return of Anubis. The DLC also gives you a chance to get back into the grinding seat, as the level cap has been increased to 45.
Assassin’s Creed Origins update 1.2.0 will weigh in at 3GB on PS4 and Xbox One and clocks in at 1.2GB on Steam. Read our review of Assassin’s Creed Origins to see if Ubisoft’s sprawling Egyptian adventure is worth your hard-earned cash.
