Expect 8.2 over the summer. BoD came out in January

The same situation as with ToV and Nighthold.
Remains to be seen what they’ll do with CoS though.
With ToV they let you have all of Nighthold to complete. This time, the short raid is coming after the big raid, and it’s timed rather close to 8.2.
Cutting Edge: Uu’nat, Harbinger of the Void (subject to change)
With how this is timed, Uunat’s CE might only last for ~10 weeks, unless they let you have all of Azshara’s Eternal Palace to complete it. I know personally I wouldn’t want to see the 8.2 raid any later than July. Crucible could have came out a couple of weeks earlier to make this less scrunched.
I believe the current lowest amount of time they’ve allowed for a CE was Heroic ToES on Nov 20th, and Throne of Thunder on March 5th. I remember that and KJ being the two CEs where it came down to the wire for me, followed by Blackhand.

8.2 will come in may/jun, now the 8.2 raid we gonna need to wait more a couple of months

I would estimate 8.2 around June, with the raid opening 4-6 weeks later

I would of been surprised if you couldn’t get it when 8.1.5 starts, but I understand some people may not of been around during legion and ToV.

We live in an era where official announcements are required to say a “2 bosses” raid is not going to replace a “9 bosses” raid within 3 months of its launch. Pathetic.
