Kindly stop posting this rubbish, tier lists have no place in an MMO

This is too much of a generalisation over an elaborate mmorpg class system, no use for that ranking

Thank for the informative article. Is it safe to assume that most of this information is geared towards raiding and PvP? So if I’m not planning on doing either of those things, all bets are off?

Lists like these are unhealthy. Please stop. You are better than this, Wowhead!

Lists like these are a nice reality check for people who think they are useless. As a Druid, I agree with my placement.

Those lists don’t make any sense if they’re not listed by specs.

I like these articles but overall ranking should be separate for PvE and PvP for ppl who don’t care about PvP (PvE) at all.

So much for “Classic is about the journey.”

As Iu2019ve said in other articles, the game isnu2019t only about PvE or PvP, theyu2019re just popular for most people.

What is it youu2019re interested in doing after hitting level 60? 🙂

Don’t know, not really feeling this past couple of guides. They feel hastily cobbled together, and read like opinion pieces with very little analysis behind them. They’re literally ‘this class is best because I think so’ tier.

I feel like guides and articles like this may stifle people into playing only one class that is the “best class ever” instead of going for a class they know nothing about and just having fun with it. It only really matters when it’s late-game such as Naxxramas or AQ40 when there’s an actual difficulty spike.

This guide is made by the same dude that put mages and locks in B tier or whatever in PvE because their rotations are boring.

I have a hard time believing that Warrior can be the best “Overall” class when their leveling experience, which is like half of the game, is the absolute worst according to your other list. That fact alone should drop them a tier or two.

Obviously written by some BFA babby who is so out of touch it hurts. Articles like this only serve to split the community and make people afraid of trying a class they might be interested in.

These last few opinion pieces with “tier lists” have been pretty disappointing to read. Mages/Warlocks are lower tier because you find them “boring”, and Druids are bottom-tier because they can fill every role somewhat well? Flexibility is an advantage, not a drawback. Even in the other articles specifically ranking by Leveling or Dungeon Runs, these opinions seem extremely shortsighted and single-minded, and I worry they’ll scare new players away from fun classes that offer flexibility, or anything that isn’t #1 DPS/HPS in a theoretical raid situation. I worry folks won’t get invites to simple dungeons/group quests because they’re playing a “D-tier class according to wowhead”, when really that means nothing and every class/spec is capable of doing almost all content, for the most part.

It’s always funny that no one ever considers that the versatility to do multiple things depending on the fight or even within the same fight without respeccing to be a plus. To say oh you can do all these things but you aren’t the absolute best at that means you are worst is a stupid approach to take. Not everything is about numbers; especially when that versatile class is increasing everyone else’s numbers at the sacrifice of their own.
