Wait….what?

“We have no plans to change any existing trinkets from the Nighthold at this time. Changing trinkets that players have collected over the course of the last few months is our last course of action, as having things that used to be cool that you are relying on to kill bosses become not cool so you can collect new things is rude at best.”

I mean, that kind of runs completely counter to how they dealt with the Legendary’s. With this approach, shouldn’t they have just buffed the crappy Legs, and left the stuff people think is ‘cool’ alone?

Because nothing says fun like still grinding away at profession leveling and/or completion EIGHT MONTHS INTO THE EXPANSION.

To be completely honest I gave up on leveling my profession :/ it’s not fun having to deal with rng when it comes to the 3 star plans when there is rng in everything else…

Remember the world boss that hasn’t been up since last year that drops Potion of Prolonged Power Rank 3?

This is why I haven’t touched Alchemy this expansion. Unless you have the 3-star flask recipes no one wants you to make flasks for them, and the RNG can be very intensive on materials (7 Starlight Rose epr flask for example).
I did level my Tailoring though, only to find out that there’s nothing worth making at 800 and that the ‘saddle blanket’ is 100% useless and a troll item at best.

We have no plans to change any existing trinkets from the Nighthold at this time.

This somewhat worries me. There are trinkets in NH that are extremely strong at the moment, so without changing them the only way to make ToS trinkets desirable is to make them even stronger. Eventually we end up with SoO/HfC issues where trinkets alone are making up 30% of our damage. The fact that there are already 860ilvl trinkets better than some 895+ ones is bad enough, we don’t want NH LFR trinkets to be on the same level as Normal ToS…

I’ve seen Rank 3 formulas being sold on the auction house.

What happened to:

7.2.5 PTR Build 23958

Mining

Significantly increased the proc chance to start each of the rank 3 questlines.

Herbalism

Significantly increased the drop/proc chance to start each of the rank 3 questlines.

Skinning

Significantly increased the drop chance to start each of the rank 3 questlines.

Did I miss a build where it got removed from the notes?

How will the loot at the end of the dungeon work? If I’m cloth and everyone else is leather or up, and 2 pieces drop that aren’t cloth, nor are they an upgrade for anyone else, that seems like a pretty big waste of time for everyone involved?

That’s rng for you. That happens right now so it’s not new.

I discovered that if you have an epic Defiled Augment Rune in your inventory and then get a rare, the rare will be stacked and turn epic, and vice versa. So if you don’t want to gamble on the epics, just keep a single rare in your inventory and any epics will be turned rare.

Actually quite a few classes (Engineering and Alchemy being the two I know) require you to have a rank 3 recipe to hit 800 skill. Both professions require 800 profession for highly sought perks (Blingmode Reeves and Spirit Cauldron)

Same.

They said things would be easier after 7.2 or something like that. I have not had any 3-stars since last year. (2016).

Honestly I am tired of the lies or bull they give us. I remember back in the day they said they doubled a drop rate for something. It went from 0.01 to 0.0.2 or something like that. Yea double, but when the rate is so small to begin with it doesn’t matter.

Yeah… Would you guys PLEASE do something about the PvP-locked recipes? I have horrid luck in PvP anyway, and it isn’t my style either. Like… I would be better off without PvP-esque not my style. Its done got me VERY irritated.

To clarify: with these changes, the chest at the end of each Mythic+ run would contain a total of 3 items (2 if you don’t beat the timer). That’s split across the group, not per-person.

So yes, it’s fewer total items than a 3-chest finish in 7.2. However, it’s an increase in items for players doing 1-chest clears at an appropriate difficulty level. This is also why I mentioned that the difficulty cap for M+ will be increasing to 15 once Tomb opens on Mythic.

Um… Now Mythic+ dungeons are no longer fun. *has terrible RNG in-game, and IRL*
