no, don’t steal my FoS! if people are REALLY so sad they don’t have it, they can level up a new DK and get it if it’s that important to them

I know, mount questlines arent going away, so no need to remove it.

A long time DK here who is disappointed that the Unholy Determination FoS is being removed. This small questline has finally given me a spark of hope that DKs will be what they looked like when they were first introduced in WotLK – not some sad blue-eyed dark characters “seeking redemption for the terrible crimes that they have commited” (boohoo) but individuals truly stripped of every positive emotion. Make no mistake, DKs are still the killing machines that Lich King has designed them to be, now they just don´t answer to him (or do they?).

So arriving to the final part of the Breaching the Tomb achievement (and holy guacamole, what a long trip that´s been), I was so excited – not about killing the Red Dragonflight, but about the fact that I got to choose. I got to choose whether I will excuse their short-sightedness or whether I will eliminate all those who oppose my quest. The Red Dragonflight was guarding the book and refusing to give it up to me, even though that the information could prove useful when fighting Legion itself? A Death Knight doesn´t make agreements. A Death Knight doesn´t wait for others to understand the gravity of the situation. THat´s why the order invaded the Paladin sanctum and raised the fallen heroes of Horde and Alliance, dammit.

So all I´m trying to say is that despite Blizzard´s effort to try to immerse us in our classes via overhauling the toolkits and embedding the class philosophy in artifact weapons and item sets, they´re going to remove that one thing that actually made immersed – the possibility to make a decision that corresponds with the class I´m playing.

Also, concerning the argument that “it is not repeatable” – What about the Herald of the Titans FoT? Nobody told me that as I raced past the level 80…

is it too late to say unleash your rage over something that should not of happened?

Baaah.

There goes any chance of it being “canon”.

Really disappointed that they’re removing it. That achievement just screams flavor, and the idea was pretty neat overall.

Fun detected.

As a dk I think it’s sweet to go around raising hell. I think it’s unfortunate about the FoS but I’ll live. What I’m waiting for is repercussions for our actions. We assaulted Light’s Hope Chapel, terrorized Wyrmrest Temple and massacred the Ruby Sanctum. I think it would be pretty epic to be confronted for our actions.

No FOS? C’mon that’s really gay Blizzard!

Whats the point in removing it from people who already completed it? It provides only a link to an achievement that some people may or may not have, the same as every other FoS.

So again, whats the point of removing it from people who already earned it, aside from the dev failure to detect and remove this prior to release?

It wasn’t intended to make it to game and it accidentally did. Removing it completely is entirely reasonable in that setting.

Yup. Funny to see people crying about it.

So will they replace it with something else instead that is easier to obtain?

It sounds like you can still choose that path and get those events to happen. They aren’t removing the story/cannon.

So im gonna play devil’s advocate since all of y’all are $%^&*ing about your FoS. So unless you had a serious bloodlust or you were in the ptr, most dk’s didnt know about this. So sure it is fair that some got it and some didnt but no class has a similiar FoS. Therefore it is fair to remove it since there is no such thing for the other classes BUT because they are removing it, it should be removed in its entirety because it’s already been stated that it snuck its way into live.

Now for those of you complaining that its a loss of “flavour”, oh cry me a river you will never be satisfied with this game. So shut up and play like the rest of us. Living you life waiting for blizz to do something you do t like and then !@#$% about it will give you more stress than its worth. Its a game. Treat it like one. They’re trying thier best to be fair to everyone and its gonna make you or me or someone else mad.

Yeah, thank god for that. Death Knights aren’t the Skywalker Edgelords the achievement turned them into anymore and the illogical slaughter of the Red Dragonflight, unrelated to any other points made so far, is gone.

But how would the confrontation ever be fruitful? Its not like Blizzard can actually punish you for the misdeeds because you have player protection. Sucks all kinds of sense and hopes for retribution out of it.

Lets just hope Blizzard ends their constant hunger for Dragon Holocaust and gives them something to do again. No need to *!@# them up more than they were during Cataclysm, especially not when the edgiest of the fanbase get the final say.
