I’m glad this is coming next week. I like my blue troll but I’ve always wondered WHAT IF IT WAS PURPLE?

Any word yet on whether DKs can swap into/out of their undead Faces and Skins? When I last saw a feature of the char customization updates it wasn’t possible.

I really, really, really wish the Blood Elf eye color change was part of a short questline in-game that explains where it came from and what it means — something more immersive and meaningful than just “barbershop yellow contacts”. Something like the green fire questline (but a lot simpler) for Warlocks to give the change meaning and weight for my character. Also, tying it to the face style (which I realize is an engine limitation, but still) is very frustrating.

It seems like WoW has become far too mechanical sometimes and is really failing on the RPG element of an MMORPG. Honestly I will probably just stick with my fel-colored eyes, as a scar of the Third War.

What? How about doing Sunwell Plateau Raid then? That explains it pretty well.

Just go run Sunwell before you change your eyes. That is the storyline that leads up to this change. Been in the game for years and years and years and years. I also like those mini quests-lines before changes, but this is not really necessary dude/ladydude.

I still remember one of the earliest characters I made…Nelf hunter…when my friend saw my char in game he asked me “why are you so red”…and “you don’t have eyebrows!” Lol…messed me so up that I deleted my char (I was already at like lvl 50 or something) and started a new one…now you can just go into barbershop and change all that…

Yeah, showing the change on a DK suggests this, but it’s not really clarified.

As others have pointed out, this is unnecessary, as the related lore is already in the game in the form of the Sunwell raid. There is no reason to do a mini-warlock Green Felfire questline for something that already has lore in-game for the change. The Sunwell was purified by the Naaru M’uru and that’s pretty much all there is to it.

Looking undead should be part of the territory of being a Deathknight, honestly don’t think they take it far enough which is why I made my Deathknight undead.
But I am happy that orcs get the posture option in Baffle looks like the goblins are branching out into chiropractics as well as dental, reconstructive surgery and even featuring a tanning and bleaching saloon.

There are also some face changes for void elves, at least for females – some of the faces now has smile.

No, Ion has stated in an interview/qa after Blizzcon that they are working on the changes for them, however it will not be ready for 8.0 in time.
