His eyes glow red. DON’T TRUST HIM!r

I’m guessing the person Wrathion is looking for will end up being Khadgar, and they’ll join forces to stop Azshara in 8.3 and open the way to fight the resurrected Old Gods in the Black Empire expansion.

Hey, not sure where to mention this; I couldn’t find a way to directly reach out to the poster. The summary at the top should read “Magni requests our help to track something to help him.” Please feel free to delete this comment after change; I just wanted to make sure it was corrected since it showed up on the main page of the site.

Actually, this feels like setup for the final patch of BfA. They’re making a big deal out of N’zoth’s agents being after Wrathion and the whispers trying to corrupt Ebonhorn. Says to me N’zoth is our final boss, not Sylvanas.

Rest assured that when the time is right, you will have my aid in the fight against N’Zoth. In the true battle for Azeroth.

Well…roll credits!

Why, oh why, after being confirmed a pawn by Aszhara do we continue to operate at the beck and call of Magni Bronzebeard?

Change N’Zoth and Old Gods to Sargaras and Legion and you have the same promises he made to us earlier in the decade.

“Such is merely the first step on the path to defeating them once and for all, but it warrants celebration, nonetheless.”r
r
‘Them’ as in “the black empire forces”, or as in “N’Zoth and all the other old gods because they are not actually dead? 😉

i highly doubt we will fight nzoth in 8.3 , nzoth is way too big of a vilian to fight in a single patch. he deserves his own expansion pack
imo the final boss of the xpac will be a very dangoures foe which is summoned or possibly even resserucated by nzoth himself..

or of course it could always be sylavannas but i think her story is to end in 8.2.5 you also have the durotar warfront map.. which adds to the fact.

Not sure how to feel about this. r
r
On the one hand, Wrathion is a huge pain in the ass and pretty much everything he has ever done ended up making everything even worse. Also, as an Alliance player I am kinda holding a grudge that his original plan for “saving” Azeroth involved the Horde wiping out the Alliance. You know, before he had Garrosh start the Iron Horde to wipe out both the Alliance AND the regular Horde.r
r
On the other hand, he actually admits that he screwed up in the past. Which is already more character growth than 90% of all other characters in this game.

We go to Kara and don’t run into Khadgar? Hmm.

Haven’t we seen the Catacombs enough? In multiple class quests at least. Why must it be reused this much?

So we don’t actually find him yet? Awww. Please tell me his new model wasn’t just to be a talking head for the journal voiceovers.r
r
Why, oh why, after being confirmed a pawn by Aszhara do we continue to operate at the beck and call of Magni Bronzebeard?r
r
Probably because he’s not actually an agent of N’zoth. He was either tricked, or just didn’t foresee what Aszhara could use the azerite power for, but he’s not corrupted as far as we know. He’s still Azeroth’s Speaker, and we don’t know that there’s any further plans involving him. r

r
Because Karazhan is a significant location, but the tower is kind of in use already.
