When I was a new player I made great use of the first aid bandages, so I hope for the sake of any newbies to the game that this profession does not get removed.

About time, I don’t think I have needed it for a good expansion or 3.

Do people actually use bandages anymore?
Surely just removing it, would anyone notice?

Wow! That would be a weird change after so many years… but… not a bad one? Go to an alchemist for your potions, a tailor for your bandages, maybe a leatherworker for your drums…. Hmm. MIght bring the price of cloth down slightly if nobody has use for it but tailors? Since no one will be burning it to level First Aid anymore.

I’m not sure why they would remove an entire skill. Doesn’t make sense at all. Some people have to use bandages at low levels and it takes away from the Ironman Challenge.

I say remove it. Haven’t used first aid in about 3 expansions so it’s not really being used anymore.

It’s become a grind for no purpose. At max lvl you get maybe 15% heal compared to approx 50% at lower lvls. Just a sink hole for mats.

There goes Blizzard removing a little more of the RPG from the MMORPG.

Buh bye first aid. I don’t remember when I said that last, maybe while I was leveling alts in Cata. /shrug

I say good riddance, you cloth-wasting profession! Never saved my butt once.

Seems kinda sad that First Aid could be removed, but considering I can’t even remember the last time I’ve even used a bandage I don’t think it would hurt the game much

I don’t use first aid on my classes that have a heal, but I DO use it as a way to shorten my down time between fights on my non heal equipped characters 🙁

Can every class get a healing spell then? So I can heal her wounds in IC even as a rogue 😉

I see no reason for it to stay in the game to be honest. It might be sad for some but it just doesn’t do anything for the gameplay anymore.

I don’t think I’ve touched it since MoP, and I only ever did it out of a lack for anything better to do since my Druid self heals were way better. I don’t mind them removing it one bit.

you cannot heal her with bandages anyways, they break on dmg.

They killed it off in Legion already, with no way to level up the skill (and allow the higher-healing stuff) without the stupid random-drop quests. Can’t max out the skill without the free points from the Faire, unless you’re spending a ridiculous amount of time just killing random mobs.

I will miss First Aid, and I’d rather they keep it in the game, but make it like it was for the first successful decade of play: an easy-to-use, easy-to-improve fallback heal for the characters without one.

If they mean to keep it around in its retardedly-RNG form like in Legion, then yeah, just kill it altogether.

I honestly hope they don’t remove First Aid.
