Gran Turismo Sport update 1.15 out now with VR Time Trials

Polyphony Digital has confirmed the release of Gran Turismo Sport update 1.15, bringing with it a number of much-requested features for the PlayStation 4-exclusive racing simulator.

First on the cards is an expanded virtual reality offering, with VR Time Trials now available for players to tackle on the Nurburgring and Suzuka race circuits. Polyphony boss Kazunori Yamauchi says this mode will let you ‘utilise the full benefits of PS VR to perform your best lap time.’

Speaking of circuits, the developer has also added a brand new track for GT Sport in the shape of the fan-favourite Tsukuba Circuit, which features a ‘combination of tight hairpins and wide, sweeping corners to really test drivers’ racing finesse.’

Elsewhere, the GT League has been expanded with three new events: Nissan GT-R Cup, Redbull X-Junior Series, and All Japan GT Car Championships. Fanatec Wheel support has also been added, and Yamauchi says that the developer will continue to improve its functionality with future updates.
