Fixing a bug that was in classic? or fixing a new issue?

After a week of it being abused, nice.

I guess I did not state it very well. Did you get exp for a party of 6 or more in Vanilla? Or is this a thing they are changing for classic due to people now knowing how to abuse it.

I am glad to know they have done this. Even if this issue already existed in vanilla and was simply not discovered back then (which I doubt looking at the wording, it is likely something that did not exist in vanilla and slipped through to classic. I recall experience gains in raids being somewhere along the lines of 10-15 xp per mob in actual vanilla), I am glad they changed it. Levelling through 10-man raids goes against the spirit of vanilla if nothing else.

As someone who tried the raid thing tonight, I am glad of this change. I appreciate Blizzard for working this weekend.

as someone who wanted to level strictly resto shammy, this is very disappointing. i don’t want to have to waste gold on re-speccing now when i’ve just hit 40.

Iirc you did get xp In raids, but it was majorly reduced.

What do you mean, “fun detected”?r
It’s a bug, an exploit if you will. It’s not supposed to be there. r
I’m so sick and tired of people like you. Level up the intended way, or just don’t play.

AOE farming a single instance endlessly for days was everything but fun. Have you watched the streams? Those guys were literraly bored as hell and hated every second of it. And of course as everything this trend also came to the everyday life. Yesterday we invited a mage to our SM party and he left because we didn’t want to form a raid and AOE farm it, because that’s what everybody was doing. Happy to see it’s gone but sad that it took so long if that was indeed a bug.

Now. the players who aren’t as hardcore will suffer. Not the players who benefited from it. Good job! r
r
Why is not rushing to 60 as quickly as possible classed as “suffering”?r
r
imo, one of the best parts of classic WoW is the levelling experience.

the bug fix came late enough that there are now so many high level mages.

fun is subjective, and it’s not a bug.
