They may have gotten first, but how much good did that actually do them? They were first, but not first by much.

r
But they were the only guild to kill it without an entire resets worth of gear…sure it is only a day, but that day was the crucial one. Without this prep, Method probably would have required the reset worth of gear, or to use an entirely different strategy. This preparation won them world first, so I am 100% sure it was worth it.

I feel like I’m the only person who doesn’t care about Method. If Limit had won I’d be happy. Method? Eh. Not really a surprise or interesting.

Sponsors pay them more for winning, it doesnt matter how much they win by.r
That said they killed the boss twice before anyone else did essentially lapping the competition.

“Enforced personal loot everywhere was a supremely dumb idea”, chapter 249, verse 17.

Personal loot is terrible even for casual guilds.

Is this site Wowhead? or Methodhead…r
r
They have their own sites blogs social medias to post all this fluff and self promoting r
They already flood twitch poaching popular streamers that aren’t even in Methods Guild to partner with them and promote them,..r
r
Now Wowhead’s little partnership with them has rapidly turned this sites reporters into a bunch of salivating groupies who have even started promoting methods sponsors for them pretending they are news articles. https://www.wowhead.com/news=289994/gaming-monitors-and-competitive-wow-featuring-methods-msi-esports-monitor.r
r
For the love of god give us filters even if its just for the premium members allow us to filter out the promotional fluff we don’t care about.

I’m not raiding much at all these days, and I also don’t like personal loot.

It doesn t protect players at all. Guilds now ask you to trade loot or you get kicked, simple as that. Forced personal loot made the entire mythic raiding worse, not better

If you don”t like a post just don’t read it, there are people that are interested and people that are not interested, take your whine elsewhere.

The amount of time you have to put into being world first for a WOW raid is kind of a waste. I can’t imagine being that obsessed with such a mediocre expansion.

If Master Loot was still in the game, we probably wouldn’t see Method doing all these crazy things on Heroic week?r
r
Is this the argument used to defend the removal of Master Loot? If so, it’s extremely weak

I’ve speculated that it was the hardcore progression that caused a drop in token price (buying gold for runes, pots, food, and whatnot). This makes it seems like Method alone caused that drop.

Well, at least some positive impact on the casual playerbase.

r
It was either a neutral question, or possible an argument against the removal of Master Loot… why would you think it was an argument to defend it…?

r
This. People will never learn tolerance and patience. Because some of them who don’t like smth actually have to whine a lot. News aren’t made exclusively for a limited audience hurry to remind. And if it wasn’t for Method news I bet that there wouldn’t be almost anything at all to post about except for Wednesday and reset stuff (since it’s also a day when PTR stuff comes up). If you’re jealous of how winded up Method is here or annoyed by it, also a reminder (a lot of them by this point actually) that Wowhead is a partner of Method and obviously they will support them, duh. (Saw it being a feature here to check for points and prev commentaries – yes I do not post a lot, because I actually go along the ideology I described here, so I’d most likely not care if anyone says stuff like “Pfft, you don’t even probably read the most articles” and whatsoever.)

2nd place is first loser as the saying goes (I’m totally in awe of all the guilds involved)
Personally I admire their dedication and drive, its not for everyone, me included but if that’s what it takes to become the best in the world at something then grats them.

I found the race exciting and was rooting for them so I’m happy with the result.
