When it comes to the sex of his third child with wife Luisana Lopilato, Michael Bublé’s lips have been sealed… until now.
The 43-year-old “Haven’t Met You Yet” crooner appeared on the Ian Dempsey Breakfast Show this past Monday, where he dropped the exciting news that he and Luisana are expecting a little girl — their first daughter together.
“I’ve got my first little girl coming in about three weeks,” Michael gushed. “I’ve never said that before in public. I’ve got a daughter coming.”
The news is a welcome bright spot for the couple: Their eldest son Noah was diagnosed with liver cancer in 2016, when he was just 3, forcing both Mom and Dad to temporarily put their careers on hold.
Fortunately, Noah is doing much better these days, Michael revealed in that same interview, adding that he’s anxious to begin working again.
“I’ve been through a lot, and one of the things that going through the thing my family has been through, is that it gives you perspective,” Michael explained. “And one of those points of perspective is that it really allows you to appreciate the good things. And honestly, I can’t wait. I’ve missed being out there. I’ve missed that connection.”
Michael and Luisana’s daughter, whose official due date remains unknown, will have two big brothers: Noah, 4, and Elias, 2.
