No guide is gonna make BM better its trash and last in logs. Fix the spec then make a guide.

Oh yeah, Wowhead can totally do that, because they all work at Blizzard…

But when I read the headline for the article, I asked myself: “Can Hunters get into Mythic+ groups…?”
I did not know that.

M+ success has nothing about logs/sim performance. Every spec is ok for it if you know how to play it, all utilities and possibilities and what to do

See this is why you get a guild. I’m one of the main M+ runners in my guild. r
Sure I can’t compete with the Demon Hunters but *shrugs* it doesn’t matter that much. r
r
Quite frankly screw logs & screw what the top % of players are playing. I’m sticking with BM, always have & always will. r
Being high in those things only means Blizz will hit you with a nerf nuke.

It’s always better to be slightly sub-optimal playing something you love and want to master than being miserable or bad at playing something that is supposed to be optimal. This guide can be super helpful to those of us who either cannot play everything at the same level of skill or simply love playing BM and prefer to just be good at what they love to play.r
r
r
To add some more tips neat not just for BM hunters but likely most hunters in general for mythic+:r
r
You can use feign death to STOP channeled abilities being cast on you. This can be the Drain Fluids from second boss King’s Rest, the Barrel Through on the third boss King’s Rest (if you do it on her shade it stops entirely, if you do it on her active phase she might just pick a new target) This also works for the golems in Atal’dazar (that everyone tends to skip), the golden priestesses’s drain, the chase by Rezan and most other specific player-targeted, channeled abilities and chasing mechanics.r
r
You can make your pet tank difficult to handle trash mobs for a while. The Masterminds in the Motherlode and the Berzerkers in King’s Rest in particular leave a nasty dot on the one who tanks them. Your pet can just help soak that with a single growl, although it will probably die soon after. Be sure to communicate with your tank about doing this though, so they do not get confused by your actions.r
r
You can use your freezing trap to interrupt an enemy if your regular interrupt is down or you do not have a stun. Anything that can be trapped will be interrupted if you toss your trap on it, even if it is being attacked at the time. r
r
You can use Disengage to stop falling damage. Easily well known, but it’s still good to repeat. If you find yourself dropping down from high up at any point, Disengage can save your life. r
r
And, although most know this; you can use Turtle aspect to either clear away things like the mushrooms on the third boss of the Underrot or take more stacks of the lightning boss’s pires in Temple of Sethraliss, but it can also be used to place pools that spawn off you on top of other pools to help keep areas clear, like with the fire in the Harlan fight or the gold in the Golden Serpent fight. Just be sure to move away from that asap afterward. r
r
And lastly, although this is risky and not done often; you can help your group skip things they do not want to beat, by either sending your pet to tank them to a side while the group runs past and using feign death after, or by using turtle to tank them yourself while the group passes and feigning death after, at a point where you will not pull them again when you stand back up. Just be sure to move the enemies to an area where the group can pass without bodypulling them and have a keen awareness of how long you can keep them busy.

Do we have an ETA on the next post of the Hunter Pet Series? Would be good to know how often they are intended to be released. Last one was more than 5 weeks ago! 🙁

I appreciate this series for all specs. Not everyone is going to reroll to a meta class just for mythic+

According to this logic half of every guide site such as icyveins should be deleted and just say “Why play X when Y does it better?” The whole point of a guide is to help players understand ( in this case ) the class better.
Regardless of how ‘good’ a class is or not, it’s only fair to allow people to play what they like and find their own play style in the mix.
