Think you got the numbers mixed 😛

So two issues here:r
1. Once again, changing a mechanic AFTER Method gets world first. They did this in Uldir too. Now it’s just more difficult for everyone else, not that it matters since WF is old news. Not sure why we’re still tracking it on the homepage…r
2. “Up until this point, guilds were race changing their entire raids to Troll for the Da Voodoo Shuffle passive which greatly affects the Mythic Jaina encounter.”- who cares? it’s their money. Most end game players already know the best race/class combination anyway, and race changing for better performance seems logical. Coming at the problem from the angle that players were paying to win isn’t the best argument. WoW is already “pay to win” on a lot of levels anyway. If it’s that much of a problem as a broken mechanic, I’m sure Blizz will be happy to refund all those race changes that this oversight caused. NOT!r
r
It was a big deal about this being the first raid where you played from both faction’s PoV. It never occurred during testing that trolls have a racial that mitigates a movement effect? never came up? Total surprise? Good thing these 23+ guilds got to take advantage of Blizzards failure to test BASE racials.

I’m sorry, Aniwaya, but why does a nerf make it “more difficult to everyone else”? Did you read the article and the hotfix details?

Your reading skills are trash. Don’t comment if you’re just going to be dumb.r
r
However, this also comes with a base nerf to Chilling Touch’s max duration, which is now 16 seconds for all races.

I sure did. My frustration is that the content is live, has been for a couple of weeks, Achievements have already been awarded, people made lots of money/fame/viewership etc off of it, but NOW they have to fix it. Seriously, who cares if “entire guilds were race changing” The angle of the argument was that Blizz changed the mechanic because people were changing race, not because they failed to test the content properly to realize that this racial affected the fight.

At this point I think removing racials altogther would be a better plan. What’s the point in having a racial that isn’t usable, or one that may not be the same next week? That’s why it’s there: to add flavor and possible utility to the race. r
r
Or maybe just disabling all of them inside raids/dungeons, allowing only outdoor content to be affected by racials. r
r
I’m not being negative here, just thinking that it would actually even the playing field for things like mythic races and avoid players feeling like a certain race is required for a fight. It would also remove the need for nerfs like this to the whole mechanic; then the fight could go the way Blizz intended in the first place.

They’re kind of ugly.r
r
I’m rolling a Zandalari whenever they are released, but only because of the Loa thing being awesome and my need for a Shaman on Horde side.

Will there be any fix for the Water Elemental in P3?r
r
I remember one where Blizzard wants to put through but reverted during the World First race. Something about Water Elemental not casting certain spell when it reaches 100 energy, which is what makes the Zerg tactic possible. Will this change ever be implemented again?

Your reading skills are trash and your knee-jerk reactions are overpowered.r
r
Blizzard nerfed the duration of Chilling Touch from 20 seconds to 16 seconds for everyone, so now trolls and the Horde no longer have an innate advantage over everyone else. This is because Method found a workaround in the raid mechanic that Blizzard’s QA team didn’t see coming, and it’s the only reason they went troll in the first place; Blizzard could have been jackholes and nullified the troll racial while leaving the duration as-is at 20 seconds, but that’s incredibly unfair to everyone who isn’t Method. The one advantage trolls enjoyed for the entire encounter is now open to everyone – that’s a plus in my book.

How is it more difficult for everyone else? They just made it so that EVERYONE gets the reduced chilling touch duration now, troll or not.

Better late than never, at least guilds outside top 20 can save money on race changes, quite silly to keep a boss in a state where race change is mandatory, comparable to Kil’jaeden where classes without blinks like shadow priests, dks and resto shamans were going goblin for rocket jump in darkness phase.

And yes, I know, at some point they nerfed the darkness phase on KJ, probably for similar reasons to be less oppressive for low mobility classes.
