Broken Isles World Boss
This week’s Broken Isles World Boss is Humongris. If you’re after Artifact Appearances that drop from World Bosses, remember that the Fury Warrior components and Enhancement Shaman appearance can be found from Trial of Valor bosses in a hotfix.
More information on all the Legion World bosses in the Broken Isles World Bosses Guide.
If you have been doing your World Bosses regularly, you should have already unlocked Unleashed Monstrosities as well. To use this tint, you must have unlocked the base Valorous artifact appearance via Improving on History first.
Here is the full rotation.
Wrath of the Lich King Timewalking
While this event is active, players level 81 or higher may access a special Timewalking Dungeon Finder queue, which scales players and their items down to revisit past dungeons from the Wrath of the Lich King expansion. While Timewalking, bosses will yield loot appropriate for a player’s natural level.
There are six Timewalking instances you can run:
Wrath of the Lich King Timewalking now includes the second Timewalking Raid — Ulduar! Go back to the Wrath of the Lich King expansion and explore Ulduar at a relative gear level to when it was originally released! Earn achievements for the Glory of the Ulduar Raider which includes both mounts, get 110 gear for your character and more! Speak with Vormu in Northrend Dalaran to access the Timewalking raid.
Ulduar’s 10 and 25 man difficulties were combined into a flex difficulty and all previous achievements were made into a new achievement to accommodate the flex difficulty. Find out more information here.
For the short version of clearing Ulduar, check out Henderman’s Burn ’em Down: A Pocket Guide to Ulduar and for the longer version covering all achievements, please read eidyia’s Ulduar – The Complete Achiever’s Guide.
How Timewalking Works
For Wrath of the Lich King Timewalking Dungeons, you retain all of your talents but your gear is scaled down to ilvl 160. You can use the “scale ilvl” button on item search results, and add stat weights to see which item is ranked the highest when everything is scaled down.
You can also use the “Timewalking Wrath” checkbox on item pages, to see what your own gear scales down to. Since the ilvl is so low, this means you can break out old legendaries–you’re not limited to Legion gear!
To queue up for Timewalking, simply visit the Adventure Journal, or use the Group Finder Dungeon section. You can queue up with friends that are not max level, they just need to be level 81 or higher.
Don’t forget to pick up the quest A Frozen Path Through Time from Archmage Timear in Dalaran. Complete 5 Northrend Timewalking dungeons to receive a Cache of Antoran Treasures, , and a Seal of Broken Fate.
Loot from Timewalking bosses scales up to ilvl 880 at lvl 110.
During Timewalking Holidays, players can acquire and spend Timewarped Badge on special items. Auzin sells items during the Wrath Timewalking Holiday: Hourglass of Eternity, Bridle of the Ironbound Wraithcharger, Will of Northrend, heirloom upgrades, reputation tokens, gear that scales up to your current level.
The archaeology reward for the next week is Spirit of Eche’ro — a mount! If you don’t grab it in the next two weeks, you’ll have to wait another 6 months for the rotation!
Completing 8 archaeology quests unlocks an Artifact Tint from This Side Up.
