That’s kind of the problem, as fun as it is, Bliz feels that Reaping is too easy. So they are moving back to an affix that makes people CC and single target to slow things down.

Queen’s Decree: Blowback: Grants nearby allies Queen’s Decree: Blowback, reflecting 200% of damage dealt back at the target.r

They probably won’t have these tested on PTR for long enough, just like previous seasons, and then will start “hotfixing” when people complain on live.r
r
Pretty much the usual theme of this entire expansion.

If I read it well, the affix will have differents effects every week.r
r
It can be a lot of fun, but it will inevitably result in some weeks being easier than others because of how the seasonnal affix did roll this week.r
r
Sounds a little bit counter-productive considering that they are trying to fight the “push week” effect, IMO.

Note that seems said that Azshara will grant her gift to a nearby “enemy”, not “ally”. This indicates that she will be granting gifts to us, the party and not the mobs that the emissary is with.

So mobs are not enemies to us? When Blizzard references mobs in tooltips or dungeon/raid journals, it is ALWAYS as enemies. No matter what. Allies is ONLY used to refer to player characters.

*Ring, ring, ring.* Shame, shame!

On the other hand, the Gift from Below is very likely to be a buff meant for players as one of the effects is to increase pet damage by 5%, which is an effect used to increase player pet class damage by the same amount as non-pet classes.

Where does it say pet damage in the tooltip? If it’s a hidden buff in the data for the spell, it’s likely due to it buffing all of the gifted mob’s damage, including any summons they produce while fighting, such as the summoned dead in Underrot.

If Blizzard gifted players, players would always clear the trash with emissaries, get buffed, and beat the dungeon even quicker than normal, especially if the emissary placement is favorable. This doesn’t sound right, considering Blizzard is attempting to make a complex situation for players to deal with which is meant to be a challenge, not a lucky hammer-spawn in Smash Bro’s.

Kinda new to m+ I’ve been doing 15-16s this season. Do they change the time limit to make up for this every season or is it always set in stone the whole xpac?
