Mother’s Day is just around the corner. If you haven’t yet gotten your mom a wonderful, thoughtful gift worthy of the woman who birthed you, raised, and loved you with seemingly saintly patience, then, shame on you!
But also, you’re in luck. On this special Mother’s Day episode of Good As New, I demonstrate how to create three adorable DIY Mother’s Day gifts that mom is sure to love almost as much as that macaroni necklace you made for her in kindergarten. Except, you know, she can actually use these gifts IRL.
The best part about these crafts is that you can make them largely out of items you can repurpose from your own home, including an old picture frame, a plain white mug, and a mason jar. Each of these cute projects — a personalized coffee mug to start mom’s day off right, a picture frame tray that serves smiles along with snacks, and a mason jar flower vase that does double duty as a picture frame — will save you some cash…but the joy they’ll give to mom is priceless.
